We have finished migrating our email servers from our old service provider (Everyone.net) to Google. Our Google powered email accounts come with the well reputed email search features powered by Google, POP and IMAP access, Google Calendar and many other features. More than 500 old accounts have been moved. Our email service was hosted and powered by a company named Everyone.net for the past five years or so. We found a better email hosting service powered by Google. We have successfully migrated our old email accounts to this Google powered service. 

 

If you had an @stanmed.net account during or before January 2007, your account has been moved to the new service. To receive your password, you need to log on to your account at the old service and email the webmaster. This is the only way to verify that you are indeed the owner of the specific username or email account. Please visit http://mail.stanmed.net for instructions. The new StanMed.net email service provides all the features of the Gmail email service free-of-cost, such as:

- more than 3GB storage space (never have to delete an email)

- advanced search features (find any email you are looking for) 

- advanced spam filters 

- POP and IMAP access (access and store email locally with your favorite email client such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail, etc)

- Calendar (manage your schedule and appointments, and send/receive meeting requests to/from your contacts)

- Mobile access (access email on your mobile phone - data service required from your cell phone service provider)

- Works well on any web browser (Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari, Konquerer, etc) or operating system (Windows, Linux, Mac OS)

-  Chat - text and voice chat with any user of Google Talk - whether they have a StanMed.net email account or GMail email account

 

All the new emails are now received at the new email service. The old service is only there to retain your old email messages. New mail will not be delivered to the old email service.
