As StanMed.net is intended to be a community website, where we establish an online forum where Stanleans interact with each other, I thought it would be nice to introduce ourselves to each other.

Please post a bit about your name (if you want to), your relationship to Stanley, what you do now, and your hobbies.

I hope this will get us closer to our goal of establishing an online community to bring together Stanley students, staff, faculty and alumni from all over the world, in various professions, with various hobbies and interests.

Okay, I'll go first.

My name is Senthil. Some of you would better recognise me as "hypo". I belong to the MBBS class of 1994 to 2000. I currently do my PhD in Medical Informatics at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

I like long walks on the beach. Just kidding

I like applying computers to improve patient care, which is exactly what I'm doing now. I like to travel, take photographs during my travel, play football (not the American kind), ski during the winter, and fish sometimes. I also make excellent coffee (espresso, cappuccino, mocha, you name it), and pick good red wine.

I like to ogle at sports cars, and I am also the founder of this website

Hello my dear Stanleyans,
I'm R.KAMALA of 1965-1968 Dec. and house surgeon of 1969 Jan -1970Jan.
I'm in India retired from Govt. Service as Deputy Suptd & Prof. of OB & Gyn in 2004.
I like travelling a lot.
As my children r presenly in the US I visit frequently .I did find out some of my classmates and juniors.
But I'm interested in knowing about everyone in my batch & also very eager to have a get together of our batch as early as possible.
Will anyone join me & make my dream come true?
I was aoscialising person even in college & also was very much interested in Social activities too
which I'm trying to continue within my limits.
I would like to keep in touch with all my stanleyan colleagues senior or junior.

i am working here doing medical rotation and mrcp .
(special message to senthil anna ,do you remeber me i used stay next door to you in F Block,how is life there
i am going to india for holiday for 15 days(6-01,22-01).

I am Jude and Ibelong to the same batch as this website moderator--ELYSEE 94 . Istudied from 94 to 99 and did my internship from Feb 99 to Jan 2000. I am currently in UK and my wife is a stanlean as well.I have obtained Membership and am working in the south of England.

Its nice to have such a forum to communicate with our fellow Stanleans.Its very nice to view the photos of our college which brings good memories ,the face of which has now changed forever due to the new college buildings. Hi Senthil you are doing a very good job ! Keep it up !

I am Ritesh and belong the 1992-1998 (the Writ batch as it was called then). I am currently faculty at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine.
Excellent website but very less interactions. I hope it will catch up.

I am Muralidhar from 92 writ batch.I am in my 3rd year psychiatry residency training in Pittsburgh.
Good to see you all here.It was also surprising and great to see many Stanleans in Pittsburgh, atleast 4 in my hospital including one of my own faculty..everybody was keen to get in touch with their peers. Hope we can let people know about this website.
