Compounder performing surgery in Mumbai Hospital ? 3 Months ago Karma: 0  
I think all of you must have seen that news item where a compounder performed surgery in one of the reputed Hospital in Mumbai. It was shot by a TV news Channel in sting operation. What do you think, is it a one-off case or it happens in other hospitals as well? Is performing surgery doesn't requires any theoretical knowledge in the long run? And only by observation and experience anyone can perform surgeries which do not require too much precision.

What is there to think about it? I think it's illegal, and the law enforcement, state medical council and the judicial authorities need to deal with this strictly.

By the way, if you post about an obscure story, provide a link to the story on a reputed news website (rather than providing a link to an unrelated website that you want to publicise).
