Senthil,
did u recieve my CD of Stanley photos that i sent last week. I've joined my residency in Pittsburgh in AGH. I'm free on some of the days. We can make the site active again. I'm ready to contribute as much as possible in developing the website. Is there any way that we can have an official Stanley website. email me at

about this.I met a couple of old stanleans in Pittsburgh, one of them is an established faculty member in my hospital in Psychiatry.. his wife is a pathologist and also a Stanlean. We can start regrouping again..give your input about this.
Thanks,
Murali
Hi Murali.
I received the CD you sent, thanks a lot. Oh yeah, regrouping would be great. I'm in touch with the US Alumni Assoc, and they keep me posted about their events. Please tell the alumni in your hospital about this website too.
I found a bunch of new modules I can add to the website, for instance, a profile page for each member so you can search for your classmates, a photo gallery where members can post the photos, a chat system, etc. I'll post the photos as soon as I get the gallery module working - hopefully in September.
I'm not sure if we can make this the "official" Stanley site. That would make me jump through the bureaucratic hoops. I would however be glad to offer any cooperation and assistance if they need. There was this SMC Department of Medicine website last year, but it seems to be down too.
Let me see, I would love to have a transcript verification system through this website though. It would require getting an electronic interface to MGR University computers, or they should manually enter the data. Dunno which one is feasible. I could even let the college people print transcripts in a standardized format from our website, and then any recipients of the transcripts can come here to verify the authenticity. Of course, we can charge a nominal free that helps to pay the bills for this website. Let's see if there are any takers for this plan.
Congratulations! I hope you have a great time in your residency program. I'll let you know if I travel close to your city.
Take care,
Senthil.
