We take great pleasure to welcome you to the new site of StanMed.net. StanMed.net is the website of The Stanley Medical College Network, the (unofficial) community of all Stanlean students, faculty, alumni, employees, and anyone who is interested in Stanley from around the world. StanMed.net was started in 1999 by the Class of 2000 (Elysee '94 batch) MBBS Students with this goal.

No technical or computer programming knowledge is necessary.
You can contribute to our development and testing in the following ways - Recommend new features on StanMed.net
- Visit the various parts of the test site and see if the pages appear correctly on your computer -- we need user testing on multiple browsers and operating systems
- Report any bugs and error messages that you find
- Help with the graphic design or programming
- Help develop an organizational structure for the website content -- divide the website into different sections for alumni, students, faculty, different classes, and based on the type of articles.
- Author content. Some example categories include
- Application information for prospective (MBBS or PG) applicants
- News / press releases from the college/hospital
- Any general information about Stanley
- Alumni reunions, Class reunions, trips, farewell parties, hostel days and cultural festivals (we will soon have an online registration system for events)
- Information about CME programs, conferences, etc.
- Photos (college, trips, medical cases)
- Higher education and career advice -- information about AIPG, TNPG, TNPSC, PLAB, USMLE, etc.
- Just anything that is appropriate for this website.
